Chocolate Meringue Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/8 t cream of tartar
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate (grated)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
- Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until foamy.
- Add sugar a little at a time, until it stands in peaks,
- Gently fold in chocolate.
- Drop 1 t mixture on well greased cookie sheet. Continue.
- Bake 25 minutes.
