Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites

  • 1/2 t salt

  • 1/8 t cream of tartar

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate (grated)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 275°F.
  • Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until foamy.
  • Add sugar a little at a time, until it stands in peaks,
  • Gently fold in chocolate.
  • Drop 1 teaspoon mixture on well greased cookie sheet. Continue.
  • Bake 25 minutes.
