Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

  • 1 medium ripe banana (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional, for added creaminess and protein)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)

  • 1 cup ice cubes (if using fresh fruit instead of frozen)

Directions

  • If using fresh fruit, peel and chop the pineapple and banana into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  • If you prefer a thicker smoothie, freeze the fruit beforehand or add extra ice.
  • In a high-speed blender, combine the pineapple, banana, almond milk, Greek yogurt (if using), honey or maple syrup (if desired), and vanilla extract.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add more milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  • If you’re adding protein powder, spinach, or seeds, blend again until fully incorporated and smooth.
  • Garnish with a slice of pineapple or a sprinkle of chia seeds.
