Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 carrot, grated
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a muffin tin.
- Mix ground beef, onion, garlic, carrot, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Scoop the mixture into muffin cups, press down lightly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Top each with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5 more minutes until golden.
- Garnish with parsley.
