Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 carrot, grated

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a muffin tin.
  • Mix ground beef, onion, garlic, carrot, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Scoop the mixture into muffin cups, press down lightly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Top each with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5 more minutes until golden.
  • Garnish with parsley.
