Ingredients

  • 1 small loaf slightly stale cinnamon raisin bread, quartered

  • Custard Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 4 eggs

Directions

  • In a crockpot add bread and custard mixture (see below)
  • In a bowl whisk together all custard ingredients
  • In a crockpot add bread then custard mixture
  • Press bread down to absorb custard mixture
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top
  • Bake on high for 2 1/2 – 3 hours
