Chocolate Meringue Cookies

Ingredients
  1. 3 egg whites
  2. 1/2 t salt
  3. 1/8 t cream of tartar
  4. 1 cup sugar
  5. 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate (grated)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
  2. Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until foamy.
  3. Add sugar a little at a time, until it stands in peaks,
  4. Gently fold in chocolate.
  5. Drop 1 t mixture on well greased cookie sheet. Continue.
  6. Bake 25 minutes.
